Richard Glen Lett is a Canadian stand-up comedian, poet and actor known for his comedy focused on drug and alcohol recovery and men's health. Lett started his career in the 1980s, touring nationally for Yuk Yuk's and opening for Trailer Park Boys actors Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Mike Smith, as well as singer Michael Bublé. He was once referred to as 'Canada's George Carlin' for his divisive and controversial shows. In 2009, Lett was banned from comedy clubs in Canada due to his abusive behavior fueled by addiction. His story was depicted in the biographical film Never Be Done: The Richard Glen Lett Story, which won Best Documentary Feature at the Hollywood South Film Festival. Lett has since focused his comedy on supporting drug and alcohol recovery and has performed at numerous recovery-related events.
