Richard Lineback

Richard D. Lineback (born February 4, 1952) is an American actor known for his roles in movies such as Speed, Twister, and Varsity Blues. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Deputy Dodd in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. In addition to his film work, Lineback has had a successful career in theater, with notable roles including Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath and C.C. Showers in The Diviners, for which he received the Drama-Logue Award for Outstanding Actor. On television, Lineback has made guest appearances in popular shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Enterprise, JAG, and M*A*S*H. Lineback was born in Frankfurt to American parents and has two siblings.
