Richard Madeley

Richard Holt Madeley (born May 13, 1956) is an English television presenter and writer. He is widely known for co-presenting the popular shows This Morning and Richard & Judy alongside his wife Judy Finnigan. In addition to his collaborative work, Madeley has also ventured into solo projects such as hosting the ITV series Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway and filling in as the presenter for The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2. From 2012 to 2017, he served as the main relief presenter on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff, and since 2017, he has been one of the three main relief presenters on ITV's Good Morning Britain. Born in Romford, Essex, Madeley attended Shenfield High School in Brentwood. He has been open about his challenging childhood, discussing his experience of physical abuse inflicted by his father.
