Richard McCabe (born William McCabe; 18 August 1960) is a Scottish actor who has specialized in classical theatre. He is best known as an Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). McCabe has portrayed a range of roles, from comedy to drama, in productions such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Winter's Tale, and King John. Notably, he gained attention for his portrayal of Puck in the 1989 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, featuring punk fairies and a scrapyard set.
