Richard Thomas Osman is an English television presenter, producer, novelist, and comedian. He is best known as the creator and former co-presenter of the BBC One television quiz show Pointless. Osman has also presented other quiz shows such as Two Tribes and Richard Osman's House of Games, and has been a team captain on comedy panel shows like Insert Name Here and The Fake News Show. He has made numerous appearances on popular British panel shows including Would I Lie To You? and QI. Prior to his television career, Osman worked at Hat Trick Productions and later became the creative director of Endemol UK. In addition to his work in television, he is also an accomplished crime novelist with books like The Thursday Murder Club, The Man Who Died Twice, The Bullet That Missed, and The Last Devil To Die.
