Richard Sammel

Richard Sammel is a German actor, born on October 13, 1960. He gained recognition from United States audiences for his role as Thomas Eichhorst on the FX television series The Strain from 2014 to 2017. With a career spanning over three decades, Sammel has appeared in more than 100 films and television series since 1991. He is multilingual, speaking German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish, with fluency in all except Spanish, in which he is fairly fluent. Currently residing in Paris and Berlin, Sammel shares his life with his girlfriend and son, and he also has two daughters.
