Richard Stahl Biography
Richard Stahl (January 4, 1932 – June 18, 2006) was an American actor known for his comic roles on television and in films. Born in Detroit, he studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. In the 1950s, he appeared in Off-Broadway productions and met his future wife, Kathryn Ish. In the 1960s, Stahl moved to San Francisco and became a member of the improvisational comedy group, The Committee. Some of his notable film credits include Five Easy Pieces (1970), The Student Nurses (1970), and High Anxiety (1977). He also appeared in various TV shows, including That Girl, The Partridge Family, Columbo, and All in the Family.
