Richard Steinmetz Biography
Richard Steinmetz is an American actor, best known for his role as Martin Fitzgerald on the now-defunct NBC daytime soap opera Passions. He began his career as a professional soccer player for the Portland Timbers before transitioning into acting. Steinmetz spent nearly 10 years working on stage in New York City and has also coached high-school football. His team, the Venice Gondoliers, reached the City Championships last year. In addition to his soap opera role, Steinmetz had a major supporting role in the action-thriller 'Skyscraper' alongside Anna Nicole Smith. He made his daytime television debut in 1988 on the ABC series Loving as Jeff Hartman, a role he held for a year.
