Richard Stirling Biography
Richard Stirling is an English writer and actor known for his appearances in film, television, and the West End theatre and Off-Broadway stage. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and has written arts features for numerous newspapers and magazines. In 2009, he gained attention for his play Seven Other Children, written in response to Caryl Churchill's controversial play Seven Jewish Children. Stirling is also recognized for adapting the diaries of Sir Cecil Beaton and portraying the title role in Cecil Beaton's Diaries. Following successful performances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2022, the play was selected for the 2023 Brits Off Broadway season and toured the UK after its run at New York's 59E59 Theaters in May.
