Richard Venture Biography
Richard Venture (born Richard Charles Venturella; November 12, 1923 – December 19, 2017) was an American actor known for his extensive film and television career. Over the course of his career, which spanned from 1964 to 2001, Venture appeared in more than eighty films. He made notable television guest appearances in popular shows such as The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, Fame, Street Hawk, and Murder, She Wrote. In addition to his screen work, Venture also showcased his talents on Broadway, with credits including Dinosaur Wharf (1951), The National Health (1974), and The Merchant of Venice (1951). Venture passed away at the age of 94, just 31 days before his ex-wife, actress Olivia Cole, in December 2017.
