Rick Aiello (September 21, 1955 – July 26, 2021) was an American film and television actor. He gained recognition for his roles in Spike Lee films such as Do the Right Thing and Jungle Fever, in which he portrayed Officer Long. Aiello started his career working as a nightclub bouncer, bartender, and club manager before pursuing acting. He made guest appearances in popular TV shows like Diagnosis: Murder, L.A. Law, 21 Jump Street, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Sopranos, and Walker, Texas Ranger. Aiello also co-starred in films such as One Good Cop, She Hate Me, and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. He retired from acting after his appearance in the short-lived TV series Dellaventura.
