Rick Cosnett Biography
Rick Cosnett, born Richard James Cosnett on April 6, 1983, is a Zimbabwean-Australian actor and producer. He gained recognition for his roles in popular television shows such as The Vampire Diaries, where he portrayed Wes Maxfield, Quantico, where he played Elias Harper, and The Flash, in which he portrayed Eddie Thawne. Cosnett's passion for acting developed at an early age while participating in community musical theater in Chegutu, Zimbabwe, where he grew up on a farm. At the age of seventeen, his family relocated to Queensland, Australia. Cosnett enrolled at the Queensland University of Technology and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting. He publicly came out as gay on his Instagram account on February 13, 2020. Cosnett is also known for being the cousin of actor Hugh Grant.
