Rick Harrison

Richard Kevin Harrison, born on March 22, 1965, is an American businessman and reality television personality. He gained fame as the owner of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which is featured on the History series Pawn Stars. Harrison and his father Richard Benjamin Harrison co-owned the shop since its opening in 1989 until his father's death in 2018. Born in Lexington, North Carolina, Harrison is the son of a U.S. Navy veteran and Joanne Rhue Harrison. He has two siblings, Sherry Joanne Harrison (deceased) and Joseph Kent Harrison, as well as a younger brother, Chris Harrison. Although there are claims of a distant relation to U.S. President William Henry Harrison, Rick Harrison does not give much credence to this idea.
