Rick Ross

Rick Ross, born William Leonard Roberts II on January 28, 1976, is an American rapper and record executive. Known for his booming vocal performance and larger than life persona, Ross has become an influential figure in modern hip hop music. His lyrics often depict the hardships of street life and black market economic activity, presenting a rags to riches narrative of affluence, wealth, and luxury. Ross gained prominence with his debut single, 'Hustlin'' in 2006. He signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Jay-Z on Def Jam Recordings and released his debut studio album, 'Port of Miami', which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. His subsequent albums, 'Trilla', 'Deeper Than Rap', and 'Teflon Don', also found success.
