Errick Miron, known as Ricky Williams, is an American former professional football player. He played as a running back for 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Williams attended Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California, where he played both baseball and football. He later played college football for the Texas Longhorns, where he achieved great success, becoming a two-time unanimous All-American and winning the 1998 Heisman Trophy. Williams holds the NCAA Division I-A records for career rushing yards and all-purpose yards. In 1999, he was chosen fifth overall by the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Draft and played for the Dolphins for two seasons.
