Rik Young Biography
Rik Young, born Ricky James Young on 25 April 1978, is an English actor, dancer, and producer. He gained early recognition for his roles in the miniseries Children of Dune (2003), the films Is Harry on the Boat? (2001) and Beowulf (2007). Young has also made notable appearances in the youth series Find Me in Paris (2018–2020) and Theodosia (2022). Raised in Hythe, a suburb of Southampton, Young comes from a family of performers, with his mother Helen being a dance instructor and his sister Rachel being a comedian based in Utrecht. Young's passion for dance led him to work with professional ballet companies at the age of fifteen before attending the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he graduated in 2000.
