Rikako Aikawa is a Japanese actress and voice actress who was born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She began her career as a child actress and later became affiliated with Atomic Monkey. Aikawa is known for her roles in the Pokémon anime, where she voices various characters such as Ash's Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Krabby, and Lapras. She also portrayed the legendary Fire Pokémon, Moltres, in the second Pokémon movie. Aikawa had a recurring role as Charla, Liza's female Charizard, in the Johto series. In addition to her voice acting work, she is recognized as a specialist in Japanese tongue-twisters. Aikawa is also known as Naomi Iwata after marrying Mitsuo Iwata, a Japanese voice actor.
