Rikki Klieman

Rikki Klieman (born 1948) is an American criminal defense lawyer, television personality, and author. Born in Chicago to a Ukrainian Jewish immigrant family, Klieman initially pursued a career in the entertainment industry, studying theater at Northwestern University. However, she ultimately decided to attend law school and graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1975. Klieman worked as an assistant district attorney for the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office before transitioning to private practice in criminal defense. She taught at Columbia Law School and currently serves as a legal analyst for CBS News. Klieman is also known for her acting roles and is married to William Bratton, the former chief of the Los Angeles Police Department.
