Risa Tsumugi

Risa Tsumugi (紡木 吏佐) is a Japanese voice actress, DJ, rapper, and singer from Okinawa Prefecture. She is known for her versatile talents and is affiliated with Hibiki. Tsumugi is a member of the band Raise A Suilen (RAS) and portrays Chiyu Tamade in the popular multimedia franchise BanG Dream!. In addition, she has showcased her skills as Tazusa Andō in Assault Lily and Saki Izumo in D4DJ. Born on July 5, 1996, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Tsumugi moved to Okinawa after her birth and developed fluency in English while attending an international school. Following high school, she pursued a degree in the law department at a university in Tokyo. Inspired by voice actress Aya Hirano's live dubbing performance, Tsumugi decided to pursue a career in voice acting during her second year of middle school. Despite initial opposition from her parents, she persevered and has since become a prominent figure in the industry.
