Rita Volk, born Margarita Volkovinskaya on September 3, 1990, is an Uzbekistani–American actress. She is best known for her role as Amy Raudenfeld in the MTV romantic comedy series Faking It. Volk was born in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union, and moved to San Francisco with her family at the age of six. She began her acting career after being discovered by a modeling scout and auditioning for commercials. Volk attended Lowell High School in San Francisco, where she participated in school plays and developed a passion for film. She later studied psychology at Duke University and acted in student films. Volk is a talented and accomplished actress with a diverse background.
