River Butcher

River Buddy Butcher, formerly known as Rhea Harriett Butcher, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, and podcast host. Born on August 12, 1982, in Akron, Ohio, Butcher gained recognition for their personal and observational comedy, focusing on topics such as vegetarianism, feminism, love of baseball, and experiences as a queer person. Having attended Our Lady of the Elms High School and Archbishop Hoban High School, Butcher later graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in printmaking in 2005. They also attended graduate school at the University of Notre Dame. With a diverse background, Butcher continues to entertain audiences through their various creative endeavors.
