Rivers Cuomo
Rivers Cuomo is an American musician, born on June 13, 1970, best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of the rock band Weezer. He was born in New York City and raised in Buddhist communities until settling in Connecticut. Cuomo played in various bands before forming Weezer in 1992. After the success of their debut album, he briefly attended Harvard University but dropped out to record Weezer's second album. Although their album Pinkerton initially received mixed reviews, it is now regarded as one of the best albums of the 1990s. Cuomo's songwriting shifted towards pop music for their subsequent albums. Additionally, he has released compilations of his demos, including Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo.
