Riz Ahmed

Rizwan Ahmed, known as Riz Ahmed, is a British actor and rapper born on December 1, 1982. He has achieved critical acclaim and received numerous awards, including an Academy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. Ahmed studied acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama before starting his career in independent films such as The Road to Guantanamo (2006), Shifty (2008), and Four Lions (2010). He gained recognition for his role in Nightcrawler (2014), which led to appearances in major films like Jason Bourne and Rogue One. Ahmed made history by winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series for his role in The Night Of (2016), becoming the first Muslim and South Asian male to win an acting Emmy.
