RJ Mitte

RJ Mitte is an American actor born on August 21, 1992, in Jackson, Mississippi. He is best known for his role as Walter White Jr. in the AMC series Breaking Bad (2008–2013). Mitte, like his character, has cerebral palsy. In 2006, he moved to Hollywood and started training with a personal talent manager. His disability became a way to educate viewers, and he auditioned for the role in Breaking Bad. Mitte was born with permanent brain damage, as he was not breathing at the time of his emergency caesarean delivery. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three and underwent treatment with leg braces and crutches. Through sports and exercise, he strengthened his body over time.
