Rob Garrison Biography
Rob Garrison (January 23, 1960 – September 27, 2019) was an American actor best known for his role as Tommy in the 1984 film The Karate Kid and its spinoff Cobra Kai. Born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia, Garrison began his acting career in the 1970s. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he appeared in movies such as Brubaker (1980), The Karate Kid Part II (1986), and Iron Eagle (1986). He also had television roles in shows like Coach, St. Elsewhere, MacGyver, and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. Garrison studied theater at Ohio University and received a full scholarship. He passed away on September 27, 2019.
