Rob Mac

Rob McElhenney, born on April 14, 1977, is an American actor, writer, producer, podcaster, and businessman. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Ronald 'Mac' McDonald on the FX/FXX comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, a show he co-created with Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton. McElhenney continues to serve as an executive producer and writer for the series. He is also known for his role as Ian Grimm on the Apple TV+ comedy series Mythic Quest, which he co-created with Day and Megan Ganz. In addition to his television work, McElhenney became the co-owner of Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. with Ryan Reynolds in 2020, as depicted in the FX sports documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, where he serves as an executive producer.
