Rob Weiss

Rob Weiss is an American television and film producer, screenwriter, actor, and director. He gained recognition in 1993 for his work on the film 'Amongst Friends' which he wrote and directed. The movie was well received at film festivals and earned Weiss a nomination for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Born in Baldwin, Nassau County, New York, Weiss attended the Parsons School of Design where he studied fashion and film. Although he never graduated, he went on to work in the entertainment industry, writing episodes for the HBO series 'Entourage' and serving as a producer on various television shows and films.
