Robert Arden Biography
Robert Arden (11 December 1922 – 25 March 2004) was an English film, television, and radio actor. He was born in London to an American father and an English mother. Arden attended a combination of English and American schools. He is most well-known for his lead role as Guy Van Stratten in the 1955 film Mr. Arkadin, written and directed by Orson Welles. Arden had previously worked with Welles on the Harry Lime radio series and had impressed him with his performance in a London production of Guys and Dolls. Despite some negative reviews, Arden's portrayal in Mr. Arkadin earned recognition for his talent and versatility as an actor.
