Robert Bathurst Biography
Robert Bathurst, born on 22 February 1957, is an English actor. He was born in The Gold Coast (now Ghana) where his father worked as a management consultant, but later moved to Ballybrack, Dublin, Ireland. Bathurst attended school in Killiney and then Headfort, an Irish boarding school. In 1966, his family moved back to England and he transferred to Worth School in Sussex, where he discovered his passion for amateur dramatics. After graduating from Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he studied law, Bathurst pursued a career in acting. He made his professional stage debut in 1983 and joined the National Theatre to expand his experience. Alongside his stage work, Bathurst appeared in various television comedies, such as Blackadder and Chelmsford 123.
