Robert Brubaker Biography
Robert Brubaker (October 9, 1916 – April 15, 2010) was an American character actor known for his roles in television and movie westerns. He appeared in popular western shows like Gunsmoke and had notable appearances in films like 40 Guns to Apache Pass. Brubaker was born in Robinson, Illinois, on October 9, 1916. His interest in acting began during his time at Robinson Township High School. After dropping out of Northwestern University, he pursued acting in New York. Brubaker served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II, the Berlin Airlift, and the Korean War. He made his film debut in Blonde Alibi (1946) and gained recognition in the television industry as a deputy in syndicated shows.
