Robert Colbert is an American actor known for his leading role as Dr. Doug Phillips on the ABC television series The Time Tunnel and his appearances as Brent Maverick in Maverick. He began his acting career while serving in the military in Okinawa, where he also worked as a disc jockey. Colbert gained acting experience with the Portland Repertory Theater before appearing in minor films like Have Rocket, Will Travel with the Three Stooges. He signed a contract with Warner Bros. and appeared in the feature film A Fever in the Blood. Colbert also made guest appearances on various Warner Brothers Television series.
