Robert Dallek
Robert A. Dallek (born May 16, 1934) is an American historian specializing in the presidents of the United States, including Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon. He retired as a history professor at Boston University in 2004 and previously taught at Columbia University, UCLA, and Oxford University. Dallek is the author of the award-winning book 'Franklin D. Roosevelt and American Foreign Policy, 1932–1945', which earned him the prestigious Bancroft Prize. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dallek completed his education at the University of Illinois and Columbia University. He has made significant contributions to the field of presidential history through his extensive research and teaching career.
