Robert De Niro Biography
Robert Anthony De Niro (born August 17, 1943) is an American actor known for his collaborations with Martin Scorsese. He is considered one of the most influential actors of his generation. De Niro has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. He studied acting at HB Studio, Stella Adler Conservatory, and Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio. De Niro's first collaboration with Scorsese was in the 1973 film Mean Streets. He won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Godfather Part II (1974) and another for Best Actor in Raging Bull (1980). De Niro's other notable films include Taxi Driver (1976) and The Deer Hunter (1978).
