Robert Fields Biography
Robert Samuel Fields (born July 10, 1934) is an American actor known for his work in film and television. He made his film debut in the 1958 science fiction horror film The Blob, where he played the role of Tony Gressette. Fields went on to appear in notable films such as They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969) and Cover Me Babe (1970). He gained recognition for his portrayal of Daniel in the 1987 drama film Anna, co-starring Sally Kirkland. Fields is a life member of The Actors Studio and has provided commentary for the DVD release of The Blob by The Criterion Collection. He married Betty-Jane Robbins in 1983.
