Robert Funaro

Robert Funaro (born January 23, 1959) is an American film and television actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Eugene Pontecorvo, a conflicted hitman, in the Emmy Award-winning television series The Sopranos. Funaro has appeared in various films and TV shows, including American Gangster (2007) as Detective McCann and Blue Bloods (2012) as NYPD Captain Browne. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Funaro has Italian ancestry from Naples. He currently resides in New Dorp, Staten Island.
