Robert Gant

Robert Gant (born Robert John Gonzalez; July 13, 1968) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Ben Bruckner on the Showtime series Queer as Folk. Gant began acting in television commercials at age ten and became a member of the Screen Actors Guild at eleven. He studied tap and jazz dance in Florida and performed with comedian Bob Hope as part of a USO tour. Gant graduated from George D. Chamberlain High School in 1986 and attended the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in English literature. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1993. Gant was also a member of the Georgetown Gilbert & Sullivan Society and started an a cappella group, The MetroGnomes.
