Robert Hays Biography
Robert Hays (born July 24, 1947) is an American actor known for his roles in various television shows and films since the 1970s. He gained recognition in the early 1980s, appearing in the popular sitcom Angie and portraying pilot Ted Striker in the comedy film Airplane! and its sequel. Hays also starred in the comedy Take This Job and Shove It (1981) and played Bob Seaver in Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993). On television, he had leading roles in Starman (1986-1987) and FM (1989-1990) and voiced Tony Stark in Iron Man (1994). Hays made a guest appearance on That '70s Show (2000) as Bud Hyde. His career includes other notable appearances in Wonder Woman (1977) and The Young Pioneers (1978).
