Robert Michael Iler (born March 2, 1985) is an American former actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of A.J. Soprano on the HBO drama series The Sopranos, which aired from 1999 to 2007. Iler's film credits include roles in Tadpole (2002) and Daredevil (2003). Prior to his breakthrough role, he appeared in commercials for Pizza Hut and had minor appearances on Saturday Night Live and in films. Following the conclusion of The Sopranos, Iler retired from acting and pursued a career as a professional poker player in Las Vegas. In July 2023, he co-hosted a podcast titled 'Not Today Pal' with his former Sopranos co-star Jamie-Lynn Sigler, produced by the YMH studios.
