Robert James-Collier

Robert James-Collier, born on September 23, 1976, is a British actor known for his roles as Thomas Barrow in Downton Abbey and Liam Connor in Coronation Street. He was born in Salford, Greater Manchester and attended St Patrick's Roman Catholic High School in Eccles. James-Collier studied business at the University of Huddersfield, earning his bachelor's degree, and later obtained a master's degree in marketing at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. Despite having no prior acting experience, he auditioned for the series Down to Earth and impressed Ricky Tomlinson and Denise Welch, leading to his role as the womanising pub landlord. James-Collier continues to make notable appearances in both film and television.
