Robert John Burke Biography
Robert John Burke (born September 12, 1960) is an American actor known for his roles in the early films of Hal Hartley and his appearances in movies such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Tombstone (1993), and Thinner (1996). He gained recognition in the 2000s for his portrayal of Mickey Gavin on Rescue Me (2004–2011), Bart Bass in Gossip Girl (2007–2012), and Ed Tucker in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2002–2020). Burke has also appeared in other film and television roles, including the recent film Intrusion (2021). Born in Washington Heights, Manhattan, Burke has a strong connection to his Irish heritage. He attended the Acting Conservatory at State University of New York at Purchase.
