Robert Miano Biography
Robert Miano (born September 25, 1942) is an American actor of Italian descent. He was born and raised in the Southeast Bronx neighborhood of New York City. Miano's talent was discovered at the age of fifteen when a talent agent heard him singing with a doo-wop group on a street corner in the Bronx. This led to a recording contract with MGM Records. Later, he auditioned for and landed the lead rock singer role in the play 'Satyricon' at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival in Canada. After traveling around Europe as a troubadour, Miano returned to New York City and studied method acting with Lee Strasberg and Warren Robertson.
