Robert Moloney Biography
Robert Moloney is a Canadian actor known for his role as Professor Alistair Gryffen in the TV series K-9. He was trained at Langara College's theatre Arts program, Studio 58, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Moloney made his TV debut in 1995 as Kevin McSwain in Highlander, and went on to appear in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis. In 2007, he won a Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Male in a Feature Length Drama for his role in Christmas on Chestnut Street. Moloney has also worked in theatre, receiving a Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for his supporting role in Clybourne Park. He has appeared in films such as Random Acts of Romance and in radio as Tommy Bane in Except in the Unlikely Event of.
