Robert Pugh Biography
Robert Pugh (born 11 October 1950) is a Welsh actor known for his numerous television appearances. He grew up in Cilfynydd, near Pontypridd, Wales, and decided to pursue acting after being inspired by the film From Russia with Love. Pugh attended Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and later graduated from Rose Bruford College in 1976. He has appeared in various TV shows, including the role of Craster in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Pugh also played Sapper Powell in the 1979 production of Danger UXB and portrayed Harold Wilson in the 2005 Channel 4 drama Longford. Additionally, he portrayed Hermann Göring in the 2006 BBC drama-documentary Nuremberg: Nazis on Trial.
