Robert R. Shafer

Robert Ray Shafer (born April 10, 1958) is an American character actor known for his work in film, television, commercials, voice-over, and theater. He gained recognition for his role as Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration in the popular sitcom The Office. Shafer has also garnered a devoted fan base for portraying Officer Ted Warnicky, also known as Joe Vickers, in the 1989 horror-comedy Psycho Cop and its sequel Psycho Cop 2. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Shafer moved to Los Angeles after attending Broward College to pursue a career in acting. With a versatile range and extensive experience in various mediums, Shafer has made a notable impact in the entertainment industry.
