Robert Ramirez

Robert Ramirez is a former legislator in the U.S. state of Colorado. He served as a Republican representative for House District 29 from 2010 to 2012. Born in New Jersey to a Mexican father and an American mother, Ramirez grew up with his mother and two siblings after his parents' divorce. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduating from high school, Ramirez enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1988. He worked in management positions in Texas before moving to Arvada, Colorado. Ramirez has also been involved in several entrepreneurial ventures and managed a Denver-based uniform supply company before entering politics.
