Robert S. Woods Biography
Robert S. Woods (born March 13, 1948) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Bo Buchanan on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. Born in 1948, Woods graduated from Lakewood High School in California before joining the U.S. Armed Forces and serving in the Vietnam War. He later graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Woods began playing the role of Bo Buchanan, a Vietnam War veteran, in 1979 and won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 1983. He left the series in 1986, returned in 1988, and continued in the role until the show's cancellation in 2012. Woods received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations and Soap Opera Digest Award nominations throughout his career.
