Robert John Wagner Jr. (born February 10, 1930) is an American actor known for his work in stage, screen, and television. He rose to fame starring in popular TV shows such as It Takes a Thief (1968–1970), Switch (1975–1978), and Hart to Hart (1979–1984). Wagner also had notable recurring roles as Teddy Leopold in Two and a Half Men (2007–2008) and as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. in NCIS (2010–2019). In film, he is recognized for his performances in the Austin Powers trilogy (1997, 1999, 2002), Prince Valiant (1954), A Kiss Before Dying (1956), The Pink Panther (1963), Harper (1966), The Towering Inferno (1974), and The Concorde ... Airport '79 (1979). Born in Detroit, Michigan, Wagner's parents were Thelma Hazel Alvera and Robert John Wagner, Sr., who worked as a traveling salesman for the Ford Motor Company.
