Robert Wuhl (born October 9, 1951) is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He gained recognition for his role as Alexander Knox in Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and as Larry in Bull Durham (1988). Wuhl is also known as the creator and star of the television comedy series Arliss (1996–2002). Born in Union, New Jersey, Wuhl attended Union High School before studying drama at the University of Houston. He made his film debut in The Hollywood Knights (1980) and went on to appear in movies such as Flashdance (1983) and Good Morning, Vietnam (1987). Wuhl received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Houston in 2012.
