Roberta Maxwell Biography
Roberta Farnham Maxwell (born June 17, 1941) is a Canadian stage, film, and television actress. She began her acting career at a young age and gained early recognition as the child co-host of the Junior Magazine series on CBC Television. Maxwell made her debut at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 1956, appearing in various notable Shakespearean roles. She then ventured to England, where she spent three years in repertory theater and made her West End debut. In 1982, she starred as Rosalind in a televised production of Shakespeare's As You Like It. Maxwell has also appeared on Broadway, with her debut in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie in 1968.
