Rocco DiSpirito is an American chef and reality television personality known for his Italian American cuisine and fusion cooking. He was born on November 19, 1966, in Queens, New York. DiSpirito graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1986 and obtained a bachelor's degree in business from Boston University in 1990. He gained recognition for his involvement in the restaurant Union Pacific, which opened in Manhattan in 1997. DiSpirito is also a celebrity chef and cookbook author. In addition, he starred in the NBC reality series The Restaurant from 2003 to 2004. He is based in New York City.
